This is a fan piece of the character Robbie Rotten from the Nick Jr. Television show Lazy Town. I really like some of the character designs on the show, and Robbie is one of my favorite. Plus he's the show's main villian and all around bad guy, always trying to turn the kids in lazy town well... lazy. Don't be suprised if I upload some more Lazy Town pieces, I would like to make a few more.

Yeah, as regards an earlier comment, I DO draw Robbie in an anime style, but I tend to give him the long chin in it, unless I'm drawing chibi. Anime doesn't mean you HAVE to play by the no-chin/no exaggeration rules, in fact it allows you to be creative with what you do. I also draw Robbie lanky as nature intended, unless, if again, I draw him in a chibi style. Chins are just too hard there.

The show does remind me of some anime, in that it's colourful and eccentric, with exaggerated characters and humour. I'm pretty sure it'd be a big hit in Japan, were it translated, or at the very least turned into manga volumes.
